Job Description
The Event Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the parking operations of a portfolio of garages and/or surface lots during events including but not limited to the following: Busch Stadium, Chaifetz Arena, Americas Center, Dome at America's Center, Enterprise Center, Peabody Opera House, parades, runs and other large events. This position delivers company; client and customer expectations by ensuring the locations under his/her direct supervision are operating in accordance to company policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides direct supervision to the event staff assigned to locations within his/her area of responsibility
• Ensures the event operations within his/her area of responsibility perform in accordance with company policy by ensuring each location is properly staffed, has required supplies and proper signage, checking Luke automated pay machines, and petty cash and follows set opening and closing procedures
• Works with the Events Manager to ensure opportunities are maximized
• Updates event schedule daily to track employee attendance
• Reviews event revenue collected, the associated paperwork and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness on a per event basis
• Ensures all facilities within his/her area of responsibility operate in accordance with company policy including revenue control, equipment maintenance, proper and accurate signage and that front line workforce staff is professional, friendly and well versed in company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, ticket handling, producing deposit procedures, and flagging
• Coordinate all aspects of execution of all self-parking operations associated with non-typical one-off events
• Ensuring event staff members are performing job duties before, during, and after events as outlined in the event staff job descriptions
• Documenting and submitting Incident Forms and conducting incident investigations that occur at the locations as outlined in the company's Incident Report Procedures
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a supervisory or parking related role
  • Established experience in Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent oral (including formal presentations) and written communications and comprehension skills
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance
