Overview

Reporting to theย Parking Events Manager, the Parking Supervisor will manage day-to-day event parking and transportation at the venue,ย Iowa State University.ย 

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00

This position will remain open until November 20, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Maintainย core values while working onย property.ย ย 
  • Inspect parking lots several times throughout the day.ย  ย 
  • Ensureย safe and efficient traffic patterns for allย guests.ย 
  • Assistย managerย with event day operations ofย parkingย lotsย and trafficย flow.ย ย 
  • Assist Manager with traffic management program and creating Traffic Command Center in SOC, monitoring real-time parking data.ย ย 
  • Assist manager with enforcement of employee parking program.ย 
  • Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for the entirety of the event. ย 
  • Ensure the campus is set up and lots are ready for the event. ย 
  • Report traffic incidents in lots to the manager. ย 
  • Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parkingย operations.ย 
  • Perform inventory management.ย 
  • Assist the manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquiries and investigate complaints/concerns.ย 
  • Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.ย ย 
Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent.ย ย 
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in event operations or parking operations. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.ย 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.ย 
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player.ย 
  • Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings, and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions. ย 
  • Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.ย 
  • Must be able to legallyย operateย vehicles.
