What are Park Naturalists?

Park Naturalists are professionals who educate the public about nature, wildlife, and conservation within parks and natural reserves. They develop and lead educational programs, guided tours, and interpretive talks to help visitors understand and appreciate the natural environment. Park Naturalists also assist with conservation efforts, maintain trails, and sometimes conduct research on local ecosystems. Their role is vital in promoting environmental stewardship and ensuring that park visitors have a meaningful and safe outdoor experience.

What are some common challenges Park Naturalists face when engaging with diverse visitor groups?

Park Naturalists often interact with visitors of varying ages, backgrounds, and knowledge levels, which requires adaptability in communication and teaching methods.
