Job description

Catholic Community of Ascension & St Augustine in Elkridge, Maryland

are looking for a Student Minister for the

middle schoolers and high schoolers of the parish.

This position is part time 19 hours a week,

Mission statement: Bringing people to a growing relationship to love God, to love others, and to make disciples.

  • You will work with the youth of the parish and help them grow

in a deeper relationship with Christ.

  • Facilitate with fellowship, prayer, content, and

small group discussion

  • Curriculum is with Alpha and Sophia Teachers
  • Recruit, train and support the youth leadership

team and adult volunteers

  • Build relationship with teens and their families
  • Ensure all volunteers are Virtus or Worthy of

the Call cleared according to Archdiocese

requirements

  • Twice a year to hold training of Worthy

of the Call for the youth of the parish.
