As a Parent Relationship Leader at Legendary Dogs, you will be instrumental in creating exceptional customer experiences,

driving sales, and maintaining operational efficiency at our store locations. Your primary focus will be on executing

engaging meet and greets with pet parents, delivering personalized service, and maximizing close rates through effective

upselling techniques. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep passion for customer satisfaction, and a

proactive approach to achieving sales targets and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies

  1. Engaging Meet and Greets:
  •  Execute warm and personalized meet and greets with pet parents, creating a welcoming and inviting

atmosphere.

  •  Listen attentively to customer needs, ask probing questions, and actively engage in conversations to

understand their preferences and requirements.

  •  Showcase enthusiasm and knowledge about pet care products and services, demonstrating a genuine

interest in helping customers meet their pets' needs.

2. Sales and Revenue Optimization:

  •  Utilize effective sales techniques, such as cross-selling complementary products, bundling services, and

highlighting promotional offers, to maximize revenue opportunities.

  •  Provide tailored product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences, emphasizing key

features and benefits to drive sales conversions.

  •  Monitor close rates, analyze sales data, and identify opportunities for improvement to achieve or

exceed sales targets.


3. Customer Experience Enhancement:

  •  Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the meet and greet process, addressing customer

inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience.

  •  Demonstrate deep product knowledge, answer customer questions accurately, and offer customized

solutions to meet their pet care requirements.

  •  Foster long-term relationships with customers by providing personalized recommendations, follow-up

communication, and ongoing support.


4. Operational Excellence:

  •  Assist in front desk operations, including processing transactions, managing appointments and

reservations, and maintaining accurate records, to ensure smooth and efficient customer interactions.

  •  Support back-of-house activities such as inventory management, restocking shelves, and maintaining

cleanliness and organization in storage areas.

  •  Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation standards, contributing to a safe and hygienic store

environment for both customers and pets.


5. Team Collaboration and Support:

  •  Collaborate effectively with team members and store leadership to achieve sales targets, operational

goals, and customer service objectives.

  •  Communicate proactively with colleagues, share customer insights and feedback, and contribute ideas

to enhance the overall customer experience.

  •  Participate in training programs, meetings, and ongoing development opportunities to enhance skills,

product knowledge, and sales techniques.



Qualifications

? Must love dogs!

? High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales, customer service, or retail is a plus.

? Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field preferred, with a proven track record of

achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

? Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and effective communication, with the ability to

engage customers effectively and build rapport.

? Knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and pet care products/services is desirable.

? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.

? Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
