Paraprofessional Needed on Staten Island
A well known non-profit organization is looking for a paraprofessional to work 1:1 with a pre-school child.

Weekly Pay!

Primary Responsibilities
  • Shadow child in classroom and attend to child while there
  • Accompany to therapy sessions (physical, occupational and speech)
  • Respond to medical emergencies that may arise
  • Perform any and all paraprofessional responsibilities as needed
  • Other responsibilities as required by situation and supervisor
Requirements
  • GED or high school diploma
  • 3-6 months experience as a paraprofessional
  • Trained in use of Epi-Pen
  • Willing and able to work with medically fragile children in a school environment
  • Must be fingerprinted, or willing to be fingerprinted, by the Board of Education. Fees for fingerprinting to be paid by candidate.
  • Mandated Reporter certified
  • A $25 money order to be paid to the school to complete the SCR Form. This is to be paid by the candidate.
  • Recent Quantiferon TB test
  • Pre-employment Physical Exam
  • Titer tests for:
  • MMR
  • TDAP
  • Varicella
