Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with a variety of tasks, including legal research, document preparation, case management, client communication and a background in real estate. This role requires strong analytical skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and precedents.
  • Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, creating timelines, and coordinating witnesses.
  • File and maintain legal documents, both electronically and in physical records.
  • Manage case files and track deadlines to ensure compliance with court requirements.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel in a professional manner.
  • Review and summarize legal documents and transcripts.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of court forms and documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a legal setting
  • Real Estate background required
  • Understanding of deeds
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate complex information effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with Timeshare is a plus but not required
