Description:

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering plastics for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets.


We are hiring an experienced Cut Plate Department Supervisor in our Bensalem, PA facility. This position will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the Cut Plate Department.


Work Schedule:

Wednesday-Friday 11:00 am-11:00 pm ; Saturday 8:00 am-8:00 pm

OR

Tuesday-Friday 11am-10pm, Saturday 8am-7pm



Role & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and ensure the quality and timely completion of customer orders.
  • Assist and train employees in machine set-up and shipping of completed orders.
  • Ability to handle minor machine maintenance.
  • Recommend measures for increasing efficiency, improvement of production, engaging employees for maximum performance and quality of end product.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Familiar with various types of cutting methods/saw operations and metal processes.
  • Minimum 1โ€“3 years of experience as warehouse or production supervisor, preferably in metal service, manufacturing, or distribution.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse logistics, material handling, and production flow.
