University of Virginia - School of Medicine: General, Geriatric, Palliative and Hospital Medicine General Medicine Physicians Charlottesville, Virginia

In alignment with the UVA Health System's prioritization of Primary Care expansion, the Division of General, Geriatric, and Palliative Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for multiple academic faculty positions in well-established outpatient clinics in Charlottesville, VA.

Practice locations include the following:
  • University Physicians Charlottesville
  • Primary and Specialty Care Pantops
Position Details:
  • Diagnosis and management of common medical conditions and disease prevention.
  • Supervision and teaching of medical residents during their primary care blocks or ambulatory medical rotations
  • Attending on the general medicine inpatient unit at the University of Virginia Health System two to four weeks per year may be an option for the interested physician.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Boardโ€‘eligible/boardโ€‘certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Committed to providing excellent patient care.
