Out-of-Town Construction General Laborer  

Job Title: Out-of-Town Construction General Laborer 

Location: South Georgia  

Position Type: Full-Time 

Job Summary 

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support construction projects at various out-of-town job sites. The ideal candidate will assist with general construction duties, receive orders from vendors, and pick up materials as required. Maintain a safe work environment and be willing to travel and stay weekly Monday through Friday as required by project schedules. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist skilled tradespeople and construction crews with daily tasks. 

  • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment. 

  • Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after work activities. 

  • Dig trenches, move materials, and perform demolition as needed. 

  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely. 

  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations. 

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 

  • Travel to project locations and stay overnight for up to 5 days at a time when required. 

  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors. 

Qualifications 

  • Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required. 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more on a regular basis. 

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. 

  • Must have valid driver's license. 

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. 

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, if required. 

  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods. 

  • Ability to work safely at construction sites and around heavy equipment. 

  • Ability to work independently and ensure that tasks are done on a time frame to ensure it stays on schedule. 

✈ Travel Requirements 

  • Frequent out-of-town travel is required. Monday through Friday, home on weekends. 

  • Accommodations provided
