POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works from interrelated wiring schematics, assembly drawings and Bill of Materials to complete the wiring of a control panel.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • General responsibility of supervising the department, workload, scheduling and processes;
  • Control panel assembly and wiring;
  • Maintain personal inventory and condition of tools;
  • Confirm pulled parts with Bill of Materials and report failed parts;
  • Assist other departments as necessary to ensure project flow and completion;
  • Functional testing of completed systems;
  • Moto Control setup;
  • Maintain appropriate quality control records and test forms.

Required:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Must have good reading skills and attention to detail;
  • Mechanical background;
  • Strong manual dexterity;
  • Prior knowledge and use of hand tools;
  • Individual must be an assertive, self-motivated person and require little supervision;
  • Strong desire to learn and grow;
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds;
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities;
  • Ability to work independently and with others;
  • Professional individual with excellent organizational, documentation and communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Prior PLC instrumentation set-up experience;
  • 1-2 years of relevant production experience, two-year technical degree or a combination of related experience and education.
