As an Electrical Panel Assembly Foreman supports the Electrical Panel Assembly Team Lead by performing intermediate-level electrical and mechanical assembly tasks. This role focuses on accurate assembly, wiring, and installation of electrical components while following established procedures, drawings, and safety standards. The Foreman also assists with training newer assemblers and helps maintain workflow efficiency on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical and electronic units, harnesses, and systems under direction of the Team Lead.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and technical drawings.
  • Perform wiring, cable routing, hardware installation, and component mounting.
  • Prepare units for assembly, including mechanical prep, labeling, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist with adjustments and minor repairs to ensure components meet specifications.
  • Perform self-checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Notify the Lead of defects, delays, or material shortages.
  • Support continuous improvement and follow established build processes.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Provide guidance to entry-level technicians or apprentices when requested.
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead, Engineers, and production staff on assembly steps or issues.
  • Contribute feedback for process improvements or documentation updates.

Qualifications
  • Required Experience: 3 to 5 years
  • Proficient with hand tools and basic electrical measurement instruments.
  • Able to understand and follow written work instructions and diagrams.
  • Experience working in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment
