Job description

With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu's only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women's center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state's first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

Pali Momi Medical Center has West O'ahu's first permanent MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scanner, which offers residents the most advanced diagnostic imaging right in their own community. Our state-of-the-art system and experienced MRI team provide physicians with a powerful diagnostic tool, and make Pali Momi an excellent choice for MRI services. Pali Momi's MRI suite was designed to help patients feel at ease and includes a special sound system to create a relaxing atmosphere during the procedure, as well as a short and spacious scanning chamber.

Under the general direction of the Manager or Supervisor of Imaging Services or designee, performs diagnostic radiographic angiography procedures on patients.

Minimum Qualifications: Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing OR formal training in MRI. Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license OR Registered MRI Tech with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

Preferred Qualifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Experience with Pediatric protocols.
