Job description

Outpatient Physical Therapist

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and physician direction. This role involves overseeing therapy services, designing functional treatment programs, and educating patients, families, and coworkers. The Therapist will adhere to professional standards and compliance, ensuring quality and safety in patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on patient progress.
  • Document care provided in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in student program supervision and facilitate effective learning.
  • Engage in professional development activities and maintain licensure in good standing.
  • Implement safety measures to ensure patient and employee safety.
  • Assist in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
  • Current CPR certification.
Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule with immediate availability for the right candidate.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
