Job description

Description: Electrostatic Paint Technician – Level 1

Electro Painters | Marietta, GA | Full-Time

About Us

Electro Painters are the originators of the on-site electrostatic refinishing process — and yes, it's exactly as cool as it sounds. We use a unique and highly effective method to refinish metal surfaces on location, transforming everything from elevator doors and storefront entranceways to heavy machinery, school lockers, fences, and handrails into surfaces that look brand new. If it's metal, we can make it look like it just rolled off the factory floor. We proudly serve businesses and organizations across the United States.

The Opportunity

We're growing — and we're looking for full-time, hard-working, goal-oriented self-starters to grow with us. No experience in electrostatic painting? No problem. We'll teach you everything you need to know about this specialized and rewarding trade. Hands-on training starts on Day 1.

Most new hires begin as a Level 1 Tech, and advancement happens quickly for those who show up ready to work and eager to learn.

What You'll Do

As a Level 1 Tech, you'll be a core part of our field crew, focusing on surface preparation — the foundation of every great finish. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Surface preparation — cleaning, sanding, and masking metal surfaces prior to paint application
  • Equipment & facility maintenance — keeping crew vehicles, equipment, the shop, and off-site job locations clean and organized
  • Material handling — learning to safely identify, mix, and use the paints, solvents, and cleaners we rely on in our process
  • Solvent recycling — regularly operating our solvent recycling machine in accordance with safety protocols
  • On-site presence — representing Electro Painters professionally at commercial job sites across the region
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Great attitude and strong work ethic — these matter more than experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel for out-of-town jobs as needed

A plus if you have:

  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish or other)
  • Previous experience in commercial painting, construction, or a related trade
Why Join Electro Painters?
  • Learn a unique, in-demand trade with minimal competition
  • Advance quickly — experience and aptitude drive your level and pay
  • Work on diverse, interesting projects across commercial and industrial settings
  • Be part of a tight-knit, skilled crew that takes pride in its craft
  • Full-time, stable employment with a company that has been setting the standard in electrostatic refinishing

Electro Painters is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds who are ready to work hard and build something great.

Requirements:
  • Great attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Valid drivers license with good driving record
  • Reliable transportation

Bilingual is a plus. Previous experience in commercial painting or construction is a plus.
