The position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in metal fabrication, and knowledge of lean manufacturing, statistical process control, and applicable fabrication standards.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or an associate degree in a related technical field with five years of applicable experience.
· Minimum of three years of experience in a metal fabrication environment.
· Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with demonstrated troubleshooting ability.
· Experience with CNC plasma cutting equipment, MIG welding, bead blasting, industrial painting, and CNC machining equipment.
· Experience with CNC and nesting programming, including ProNest or comparable software.
· Ability to communicate effectively with design engineering, test engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
· Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
