A Day In The Life
A Collision Paint Technician II, under the leadership of the Operations Manager, Repair Center, is responsible for refinishing damaged auto parts and vehicle bodies in accordance with Original Equipment (OE) Factory and Toyota Technical Information System (TIS) quality specifications and time standards. This role requires knowledge of and compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations that affect body shop operations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know standards. The technician will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

As a Collision Paint Tech II you will:

  • Perform all preparation and refinishing of vehicle bodies and parts in compliance with OE Factory and Toyota Technical Information System (TIS) specifications and cycle time standards
  • Conduct surface prep activities including sanding, masking, priming, and sealing to ensure high-quality paint application
  • Mix, match, and apply paint using approved techniques, tools, and equipment to achieve durable and consistent finishes
  • Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, including OSHA and hazardous material handling
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while demonstrating teamwork, professionalism, and company values in all interactions

What We Need From You

  • High School or general education degree (GED); plus, three or more years related experience as a collision paint technician with sheet metal and interior collision repair experience

  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
  • ASE Certifications in auto body repair, painting and estimating a plus. Preferred
  • Painting and Refinishing Certification for Collision Repair a plus. Preferred
