About the Role
Koopman Lumber is looking for a knowledgeable, customer-focused Paint Department Manager to lead our Paint Department in Sharon, MA.
This is a hands-on sales and leadership role for someone who knows paint, enjoys helping customers, and takes pride in running a successful department. You'll work with homeowners, contractors, and professional painters while overseeing the day-to-day organization, inventory, merchandising, and sales of the department.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Paint Department
  • Help customers select paints, stains, coatings, and project supplies
  • Mix, tint, and color-match paint accurately
  • Build relationships with homeowners, contractors, and professional painters
  • Drive department sales through strong product knowledge and customer service
  • Manage inventory, stocking, merchandising, and product displays
