Job description

Reading Truck is hiring Paint Preppers/ Caulkers for 1st shift in our Paint department in Claremore. Get paid to play with truck!

Shift: 4/10 work schedule Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm; with overtime on Friday as needed

How You Will Make an Impact

Help prepare all truck equipment orders for paint processing.

The Nuts and Bolts

  • Prep all orders in the truck department for paint.
  • Assist painters in painting, masking, taping, or any other task to be performed in the paint department.
  • Help prep and perform basic repairs when needed.
  • Perform quality assurance before and after painting.
  • Other duties assigned by management (may be assigned at any time).
  • Know and follow all health and safety rules, such as safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
  • May be required to handle, move, or perform administrative tasks involving Hazardous materials

Required Credentials 

  • Some fabrication knowledge/understanding a plus
