Lawson Home Services - Full-Time | Salary + Bonus | Company Vehicle


Lawson Home Services is hiring a Residential Energy Auditor / Home Performance Inspector to perform home energy audits for the Energize Delaware Rebate Program.


No energy-auditing experience required -we provide full paid training and BPI certification.


Candidates withhome inspection, HVAC, or residential construction experience are strongly encouraged to apply.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform residential energy audits and diagnostic testing (blower door, duct testing - training provided)
  • Inspect insulation, air sealing, HVAC/duct systems, and building envelope components
  • Review homeowner comfort/energy concerns and collect usage information
  • Document findings accurately for the Energize Delaware program
  • Produce clear written reports and recommendations
  • Maintain organized tools, equipment, and job sites
  • Communicate professionally with customers and the office team


Qualifications

  • Experience in home inspections OR residential construction (remodeling, insulation, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Valid DE driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Willingness to earn BPI Certification (training provided)


Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Prior energy auditing or weatherization experience
  • Diagnostic testing familiarity
  • Experience writing reports or documenting field work
