Position Overview


We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Mortgage Loan Officer Trainees. This is a paid training position designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience needed to build a successful career in mortgage lending.

As a Mortgage Loan Officer Trainee, you will learn the mortgage loan process while assisting customers with their home financing needs. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop your financial and customer-service skills, and prepare to advance into a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) role.


What You'll Do:

  • Assist customers with mortgage loan applications and the home-financing process
  • Collect, organize, and review financial and employment documents
  • Learn how to evaluate income, credit, and other borrower information
  • Explain mortgage loan options, requirements, and next steps to customers
  • Communicate with borrowers, lenders, processors, and underwriting teams
  • Follow up on applications and outstanding documentation
  • Provide professional customer service throughout the loan process
  • Learn mortgage industry guidelines, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Develop the skills necessary to become a successful licensed Mortgage Loan Officer
