Job description

About Gap Inc.

At Gap Inc., we create culture as much as we create clothes. Our ambition is to become a high-performing house of iconic American brands that shape culture.

Our portfolio—Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta—each brings a distinct point of view to how we show up in the world and serve our customers.

Old Navy democratizes style with quality and value for all. Gap champions originality through essential pieces that celebrate individuality. Banana Republic is rooted in a spirit of discovery, creating modern pieces inspired by craftsmanship and travel. Athleta champions the Power of She through confidence, strength, and movement.

We’re driven by a shared purpose: to bridge gaps—between people, perspectives, and possibilities—to create a better world.

We’re building a team that performs at a high level—people who think boldly, take ownership, and turn ideas into impact. If you’re ready to learn fast and help shape what’s next, you’ll fit right in.

About the role

This role will leverage strong channel expertise to identify optimization opportunities, contribute to Paid Social best practices, and support continuous improvement across the portfolio.

What you'll do
  • Manage day-to-day Paid Social activation and execution, serving as the primary day-to-day contact with Media Agency resources dedicated to Paid Social.
  • Partner with Media Agency teams on campaign execution, platform best practices, creative strategies, and optimization opportunities to maximize Paid Social performance.
  • Monitor Paid Social investment and creative performance against target KPIs identified in marketing briefs, proactively identifying optimization opportunities and escalating potential risks.
  • Support cross-portfolio optimization by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, share learnings, and promote best practices across Gap Inc.’s brands.
  • Stay current on Paid Social platform capabilities, industry trends, and emerging opportunities, bringing recommendations and new ideas to the team.
  • Partner closely with the Measurement team to ensure accurate reporting, monitor campaign performance, and surface actionable insights.
  • Prepare and share campaign performance updates, testing results, and best practices with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through testing, optimization, and adoption of new Paid Social capabilities.
  • Support the Senior Manager and Director, Paid social in managing relationships with key platform partners by staying informed on evolving offerings and identifying opportunities that provide incremental value for Gap Inc.

Strategy

  • Execute Paid Social strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives while identifying opportunities to improve campaign performance and operational efficiency.

Planning

  • Support the planning and execution of Paid Social campaigns, helping optimize investments and ensure campaigns deliver against brand and business objectives.

Leadership

  • Demonstrate accountability, initiative, and strong collaboration while building productive relationships with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and cross-functional teams.

Teamwork

  • Collaborate effectively across Channel Planning, Measurement, Creative, Brand Marketing, agency, and platform partners while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset and delivering high-quality work.

Ownership

  • Demonstrate Paid Social subject matter expertise, communicate clearly with stakeholders, proactively solve problems, take ownership of campaign execution, and continuously seek opportunities to improve results.

Curiosity

  • Champion a test-and-learn mindset by executing testing plans across the Paid Social ecosystem and staying current on platform innovations, products, and best practices.
Who you are

  • Experience partnering with agency teams and collaborating effectively across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Paid Social platforms, technologies, measurement approaches, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
