Job description

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
This program of study aims to train students in installation, repair, modifying and maintaining circuits, electrical and electronic systems, and communication networks on manufacturing, institutional and industrial construction machinery.
The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board
LESSONS TAUGHT:
  • Communication and telephony wiring
  • Experience with PLC's (Programmable logic controllers)
  • Electronic instruments
  • Knowledge in domotics
  • Labor market integration training courses
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • MEESR program and teaching experience are definite assets
ASSETS:
  • Knowledge and teaching of the MEES
  • Experience in teaching English and French as a second
  • Knowledge of the Moodle
CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS:
Salary & benefits as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board: from $54,119 to $105,432 annually depending on experience and qualifications. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task.
