Functional Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Systems Administrator will work as a part of a systems development team to oversee and evaluate standards, requirements, and schedules of multiple client projects.
  • Assess technical and functional requirements and manage development schedules. Provide seamless integration and coordination between projects.
  • Ensure technical and programmatic baselines of ongoing client initiatives are consistent across all program development efforts, anticipate system interface requirements, assess risks, and enforce configuration control processes.
  • Provide input and analysis on technical design of a physical and/or logical nature as well as making technical recommendations of system implementations.
  • Maintain architectural documents, Support DoDAF, AWS DevSecOps pipeline
  • Lead developer and ISSM resources and support RMF, Security Assessment Plan, Security Impact Plan and development processes
  • Maintain existing software licenses
  • Support Agile development and delivery processes
  • Ensure Change Control Board (CCB) processes and conduct meetings to review the changes with PMO
  • Coordinate and facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) mission stakeholders
  • Provide system and database administration, technical support and configuration management operations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Clearance Level: Secret
  • Bachelor of Science Degree (Additional 4 years experience in lieu of BS Degree)
  • Core Experience: 8 years of experience with AWS, Red Hat Linux 7.9, Unix shell scripts, Windows, and Oracle 19c.
  • Full Technology & Tool Stack
  • Development & Integration: Java 11, ColdFusion (2023/2025), PL/SQL, Apache, and OpenOffice.
  • DevSecOps & Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, AMI, Security Groups), Jenkins, Chef, Artifactory, and GitLab.
  • Management & Frameworks: Jira, Agile Scrum, and DoDAF.
  • RHEL Administration: RHEL 8/9, STIG configuration, SELinux, Firewalld, and FAPolicy.
  • Windows & Maintenance: Windows Server 2019, Chrome/Adobe Reader patching, and Fortify Tools.
  • Security Tasks: Quarterly STIG/software updates, server certificate maintenance, and AD administration on .
