Job description

AAIRS CLINIC: Center for Allergy, Asthma, Immunology, Respiratory, and Sleep Wellness

AAIRS Clinic is seeking a full or part time Medical Assistant. Some duties for this position include rooming patients, taking vitals, performing breathing tests, performing allergy tests and injections, immunotherapy extract preparation, patient check in and check out, addressing phone calls, and obtaining prior authorizations for testing and/or medications.

Candidate must be able to commute to and rotate between our Troy, Macomb, and/or our Sterling Heights offices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of medical assisting experience or graduate of a medical assistant program
  • Epic EMR/EHR experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to take initiative to learn and help with office tasks
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)

Salary: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
