Capstone Research Corporation has an immediate opening in Huntsville, AL at Redstone Arsenal for a Senior Systems Analyst to support warfighter integration between USAF PAE C3BM and joint service stakeholders.

Position Description:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to support warfighter integration between the USAF PAE C3BM team and key joint stakeholders at Redstone Arsenal. This position will help ensure USAF equities, operational needs, and interoperability requirements are effectively represented across joint integrated air and missile defense, joint tactical fire control, and homeland air and missile defense initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a senior operational and technical advisor, translating warfighter needs into actionable program, engineering, test, and integration priorities. This role requires the ability to work across USAF, Army, Missile Defense Agency, and joint stakeholder communities to improve interoperability, mission effectiveness, and fielded capability integration.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Systems Analyst will help translate operational needs into actionable development, integration, test, and fielding priorities. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the principal warfighter-integration interface between the USAF PAE C3BM and relevant Redstone Arsenal stakeholders, including PAE FIRES IFMC, AvMC, MDA, DEVCOM, S3I, and SMDC
  • Advise development teams on USAF operational employment, joint interoperability, command and control integration, tactical fire control, and homeland air and missile defense considerations
  • Support coordination across joint IAMD stakeholders to identify capability gaps, integration risks, test objectives, and operationally relevant measures of performance and effectiveness
  • Contribute to requirements analysis, architecture discussions, integration planning, test event preparation, operational assessments, and joint analysis products
  • Help align programmatic priorities with warfighter needs, stakeholder expectations, and joint mission-thread requirements
  • Provide senior-level written and verbal briefings to government, military, technical, and program leadership audiences

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and significant relevant experience (15+ years) in air and missile defense, joint fires, C2/C3BM, tactical datalinks, sensors, weapons integration, or related mission areas
  • Operational experience supporting USAF air defense, joint integrated air and missile defense, homeland defense, joint fires, air operations, or command and control missions
  • Demonstrated experience working with DoD program offices, development teams, test organizations, or joint stakeholder communities
  • Strong understanding of interoperability challenges across joint C2, tactical fire control, air and missile defense, and multi-domain operational environments
  • Experience supporting requirements development, technical integration, test planning, operational assessment, joint analysis, or capability transition activities
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior military, government civilian, contractor, engineering, and test stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, problem solving, and technical writing skills
  • Active DoD security clearance required. Must be eligible to access classified systems and facilities as required. Active Secret or higher required; TS/SCI preferred
  • Ability to travel 20-35%, as required for test events, user engagements, and operational coordination
  • BS Degree relevant technical/subject matter experience
  • Must be US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with USAF, Army, MDA, or joint air and missile defense programs
  • Familiarity with Redstone Arsenal stakeholder organizations, including IFMC, AvMC, MDA, DEVCOM, S3I, and/or SMDC
  • Experience with deployable C2/C3BM systems, IAMD mission threads, joint tactical fire control, homeland air defense, or operational test events
  • Program management, project management, systems engineering, MBSE, joint analysis, or test and evaluation experience.
  • Prior military operational experience in air defense, air battle management, joint fires, AOC operations, homeland defense, or missile defense
  • Recent experience supporting exercises, wargames, demonstrations, or operational experimentation.
  • BS STEM Degree (MS Preferred)
