About the Role
Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE: Position involves all aspects of the IG assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, pulling parts, assembling, repair/restock, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean-up. The main focus of the position at this time involves putting up and pulling inventory stock.
PAY RANGE: $18-$20
This is an onsite 1st shift position
Top 5 skills being sought for this position:
• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
• Operate safely standup and sit-down style forklifts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
• Ability to perform physical activity associated with operation of equipment including bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching in order to meet production needs.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Operate safely overhead cranes and associated rigging equipment.
Top 5 tasks for this position:
• Hands-on putting up inventory stock as received from SEW affiliates and domestic suppliers.
• Hands-on parts pulling, prepping, and staging of parts for parts orders and shop assembly orders
• Operate material handling equipment such as, but not limited to, various types of forklifts and cranes.
• Use computer for inventory/shipping/receiving in SAP & Swisslog systems.
• Rotate to various jobs within the Assembly Shop if necessary.
• Packaging, shipping/receiving, and general clean up.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
