Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Moving Operations Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, packing/unpacking, and transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of equipment. Basic Duties
  • Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring safe handling and transport.
  • Assist in packing and unpacking items, ensuring proper organization and care.
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks, moving furniture and other large items.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and moving equipment.
  • Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for efficient movement of heavy items.
Experience
  • Minimum (1) year experience as a Mover or a similar role is required.
  • Knowledge of proper packing and loading methods to prevent damage.
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks.
  • Experience using forklifts or pallet jacks is desirable, but not required.
  • Commercial driving experience is a plus; familiarity with driving box trucks is beneficial.
