PICKING & PACKING ASSOCIATE - SEASONAL
$17.00/Hour

School Health Corporation is the leading provider of medical supplies to schools, universities, and sports teams nationwide. We're a family-owned company with a clean facility and a great team atmosphere.
We are hiring Seasonal Picking & Packing Associates. This position is responsible for picking and packing customer orders in a Distribution Center.
This is a seasonal position and does not include benefits.
Responsibilities include:
  • Operate handheld RF scanner to pick order.
  • Verify correct items are pulled for orders based on description and quantity.
  • Place completed orders on conveyor for delivery to packing stations.
  • Select right size shipping carton and packing materials to pack out order.
  • Print and attach packing slips.
  • Meet daily productivity goals.
  • Clean up work areas at end of shift.
  • Assist other departments/functions as needed.

Basic Requirements:
  • Ability to work Monday - Saturday, and overtime will be required based on business needs.

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs and use a pallet jack
  • Ability to stay on feet and walk for long periods of time

Work Environment
  • Work in a warehouse environment throughout seasonal temperature variations
  • Use of proper safety procedures to ensure workplace safety

Experience: Previous warehouse experience with a handheld RF scanner preferred but not required.
