HIRING IMMEDIATELY: INSPECTOR PACKER IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Inspector Packer to join our team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for quality control, handling finished parts, and preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role, high attention to detail, commitment to safety, organizational skills, and a strong motivation to work. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Quality Inspection: Visually inspect finished extruded or molded plastic parts as they come off the line for defects such as cracks, deformities, color issues, or flashing. You will often use measurement tools like calipers or micrometers to ensure parts meet specific blueprints and customer specifications
  • Packing & Labeling: Accurately count, stack, and pack approved parts into the correct boxes or containers. You must ensure boxes are properly weighed, sealed, and labeled with the correct production information before they are staged for shipping
  • Production Support: Remove parts from molds or conveyor belts and perform necessary secondary operations, such as trimming excess plastic off the finished product. You are also responsible for discarding or sorting defective parts into regrind buckets for recycling
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs, including production tallies, hourly quality check sheets, and reports on rejected materials. You must promptly communicate any persistent machine or quality issues to the shift supervisor
  • Safety & Maintenance: Keep your workstation clean and organized (often following 5S methodologies) to prevent hazards. Strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory
