High-Volume Shipping Associate

Our client is seeking a dependable and experienced High-Volume Shipping Associate to support fast-paced warehouse and shipping operations. This role is ideal for someone who is already working in a shipping, warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment and can step in with minimal training. The right candidate will be comfortable in a high-volume setting and have hands-on experience with picking, packing, labeling, preparing shipments, and keeping orders moving accurately and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Shipping & Order Fulfillment
    • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders accurately and efficiently in a high-volume shipping environment
    • Verify items, quantities, and shipping information before packaging and shipment
    • Label, stage, and process shipments according to company and carrier requirements
    • Ensure orders are packed securely to prevent damage during transit
    • Meet daily shipping deadlines and production goals while maintaining accuracy
  • Receiving & Inventory Support
    • Assist with receiving incoming materials, products, or supplies as needed
    • Verify incoming shipments against packing slips or purchase orders
    • Help organize inventory and maintain accurate stock movement within the shipping area
    • Support material movement between departments or work areas as required
  • Warehouse & Operational Support
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and warehouse workspace
    • Assist with restocking shipping supplies and keeping packing stations operational
    • Communicate shortages, shipping errors, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies to management
    • Follow all company procedures related to shipping, handling, and workplace safety
    • Support other warehouse or operational tasks as needed to keep workflow moving efficiently
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Shipping / Warehouse Experience
    • Prior experience in a shipping, warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, or order processing role is required
    • Must already be comfortable with high-volume picking, packing, and shipping processes
    • Ability to step into the role with minimal training and quickly contribute to daily operations
    • Experience working with shipping labels, packing slips, and outbound order preparation strongly preferred
  • Technical / Operational Skills
    • Basic computer skills for shipping systems, order tracking, or inventory lookup preferred
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to follow written instructions, packing requirements, and shipping procedures
    • Experience using warehouse equipment or shipping systems is a plus
