Job description

Milwaukee Precision Casting, Inc is now hiring a full-time direct hire candidate for the Shipping department, Shipping & Receiving Assistant, closing shift from 10am to 6pm.

TRAINING FROM 8:00AM to 4:00PM for approximately 3 months is a must. Once fully trained the shift will be 10am to 6pm.

Starting pay is $18.00 an hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prepares orders for shipment according to information on Production/ Process sheet.
  2. Prepares shipping request and gives to Quality Technician if certifications needed or Administrative Assistant if certifications not needed.
  3. Records shipping information on shipping log.
  4. Obtains packing slips, bill of lading, and labels for shipments.
  5. Loads and unloads trucks for shipping and receiving. Must verify against packing slip,
  6. Prepares orders for outside services according to instructions on Production/Process sheet.
  7. Gives all receiving information to Shipping Supervisor to record.
  8. Notifies specific person of items received and obtains their sign off.
  9. Assist with keeping shipping area cleans and organized. All parts must be labeled or have PPS.
  10. Obey all safety rules and always wear PPE.
  11. Other duties designated by the Shipping Supervisor and Plant Foreman.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
