Job Title: Packaging Operations Operator II
Location: 7 Loveton Circle, Sparks, MD 21152-0999
Shift: Weekend Nights โ€” Friday to Sunday, 6:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a Packaging Operations Operator II to support packaging and inspection activities for clinical and commercial medical products at Sparks, MD facility. This is a weekend night shift position requiring reliable transportation (location not accessible by public transit).

The Packaging Operator will be responsible for manual inspection, labeling, and packaging operations to ensure all products meet Quality, GMP, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products according to approved procedures and quality specifications.

Execute finished product packaging activities to meet customer and internal production demands.

Inspect in-process packaging and materials, removing any defective products or components.

Accurately complete all required production and quality documentation, including device history records and inventory logs.

Conduct basic mathematical calculations to support batch record completion.

Participate in inventory counting and reconciliation as needed.

Engage in safety audits, follow contamination control and PPE/gowning protocols, and maintain a clean and compliant work environment.

Handle hazardous waste in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, packaging, or related industry experience.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Proficient in basic computer use and general business software.

Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.

Must be willing to work weekend night shifts and flexible or overtime hours as needed.
