Position Summary:

The General Labourer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to support production operations. This includes material handling, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting with equipment setup. Additionally, this role will involve packaging duties as needed, ensuring products meet quality standards and production requirements.


Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Perform general labour tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
  • Support packaging operations, including bottling and labeling, when required.
  • Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision.
  • Assist with equipment setup, break-down, routine cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Participate in team meetings and follow assigned production schedules.
  • Communicate any safety or operational concerns to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 60 lbs. (25 kg).
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience working with machinery is an asset.
  • Willingness to learn and take on different tasks as needed.
