Job Description:
Boulder Manufacturing Co. is a leading innovator in the cannabis industry, specializing in producing high-quality extracts and concentrates. We seek a skilled and motivated Packaging Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Boulder, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with a team to perform various compliance-sensitive and methodical tasks that enable our products to reach our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to balance and monitor a scale correctly.
  • Must be able to accurately weigh all products within the given tolerance, working with decimals.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Ensure all internal and state-mandated inventory systems are up to date and accurate.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of packaging process and supplies.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the shift and takes pride in their station.
  • Ensures Proper PPE is always worn within designated areas.
  • Maintains the cleanliness, sanitation levels and safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have or be able to obtain an MED employee license.
  • Some mechanical knowledge preferred to troubleshoot and maintain packaging equipment, making necessary repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, or equipment damage during packaging operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Physical & Work Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds).
  • Must be able to work in facilities with moderate to loud noise levels and changing working conditions. May require the use of safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, an average of 40 hours per week.
  • May be requested to work additional time as business demands require.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Work in a lab environment with exposure to cannabis products and solvents.
  • Must be able to acquire MED badge prior to beginning employment.
