Operator 1, Packaging Operations | Woburn, Massachusetts, United States Operator 1, Packaging Operations - Woburn, MA About the Role Join a collaborative and safety-focused team packaging Arista™ AH Absorbable Hemostatic Powder, a critical plant-based medical product. As an Operator 1, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with potential for career advancement. Responsibilities - Manually inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products with precision. - Perform finished product packaging to meet internal, customer, and clinical demands. - Conduct in-process inspections to ensure product and packaging quality; remove defective items. - Accurately document manufacturing activities, including device history and inventory counts. - Complete basic mathematical calculations for batch records and inventory. - Participate in inventory counting and maintain timely, accurate records. - Engage in routine cleaning of packaging stations and equipment. - Follow all personal protective equipment and contamination control requirements, including gowning. - Handle hazardous waste and participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions. - Work flexible hours, including overtime as needed, Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Required Skills and Experience - High school diploma or GED. - At least 6 months industry work experience in a regulated or manufacturing environment. - Proven attention to detail and strong team collaboration skills. - Ability to read, understand, and follow written documentation and procedures. - Familiarity with computers and basic software. - Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations. - Background check clearance required prior to start.
