Your Role
The Receiving, Packaging & Labeling Coordinator position is primarily responsible for the receipt of materials being delivered to the Winslow, Maine facility. In addition, this individual is responsible for the distribution of incoming packages from UPS, FedEx, DHL or any other commercial carrier. This individual participates in the organization of material storage locations. Travel may be required. This individual assists in all aspects of inventory management.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Receive purchase orders in inventory system, assuring that proper quantities and pricing are reflected
  • Receive and deliver packages delivered by commercial carriers.
  • Organization of storage areas.
  • Assess inventory requirements for shipping supplies and packaging supplies and work with supervisor to manage inventory levels.
  • Advise accounting of any issues in receipt of goods against PO
  • Work with trucking firms as necessary to schedule receiving appointments.
  • Coordinate return of merchandise to vendors if necessary.
  • Participation in year-end and/or cycle and physical counts.
  • Assist in distribution activities as requested (shipping, final packaging)
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures compliance with the Company's Comprehensive Safety program by knowing and following all safety guidelines, policies, procedures and expectations. Takes immediate and appropriate action to rectify any unsafe conditions.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Minimum of High school diploma/GED. Associates degree in business or supply chain management preferred. Years of experience may be substituted providing there is representative knowledge and proven experience in all of the above areas. Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Requires experience with computerized purchasing and inventory control systems. Individual must have above average skills in Excel. Requires excellent writing and communications skills. Requires sound math and analytical skills and the ability to understand forecasting and planning systems. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities. Must be able to work as part of a team.
  • Completion of Post Offer Exam, Completion of Work Simulation or Completion of Administrative Skills Testing if applicable.

Additional Preferences:
  • Experience operating powered industrial trucks
  • Experience using SAP

Other Information:
  • Safety toed shoes, safety glasses and gloves are required at all times

Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $42,400.00 to $54,400.00 depending partly on the successful candidate's qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
