This position is expected to work 20 hours/week, running 9/14 through 12/11 The Engineering Intern assists the Engineering team with production projects and continuous improvement initiatives. The position provides hands-on Engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Helps develop, improve and revise manufacturing processes Helps design and implement tooling and fixtures for effective manufacturing Helps analyze failures and troubleshoots to improve test yields Supports purchasing, quality, test, and production departments to ensure product integrity is maintained Supports cost justification studies and ROI for capital equipment Creating and updating work instructions Supports SOW development for equipment implementation and validation Job Requirements Currently enrolled in college or university Engineering Program. Junior or Senior level, preferred. Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering discipline, preferred. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, preferred.
