Job description

What you will Gain: Competitive Pay-$18.50/hr-20/hr plus benefits after 30 days

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for start-up, attending, operating and adjusting various packaging machines such as  

fillers, cappers, case erectors, tape machines, labelling equipment etc. 

Secures packaged items on pallets and when needed operates pallet moving equipment to  

move items to and from the packaging lines to the stretch wrapper. 

Maintains quality standards for weights, seals/caps, appearance, etc. by machine adjustments  

and frequent quality checks. 

Performs minor maintenance repairs, adjustments, changeovers, troubleshooting and  

preventative maintenance as required. 

Responsible for equipment cleaning and maintaining a clean work area and observing all safety  

regulations. 

Fills in on packaging lines as needed. 

Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. 

Observes all plant safety rules. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

High School Diploma or GED equivalent 

Previous experience in operation of packaging equipment. 

Pallet moving and forklift driving experience. 

Mechanical ability.
