Job description

Salary: $180 - $220 per day

Luna Delivery Inc. is an independent contractor for FedEx that is hiring drivers in the Ocala area. Successful candidates are self-motivated, hardworking, quick thinking, and excel in a team environment!

We are primarily seeking full-time drivers but will consider part-time drivers depending on business needs. Please submit your availability and any working restrictions in your application response.

We prefer candidates with delivery experience, however, we have a training program that is designed to mold anyone with grit and determination into a delivery professional. Note that a CDL is not required for this position.

The starting wage is $15 per hour, which is paid through training. New hires will have a performance review after a 90-day probationary period at which point an increase in wage will be considered.

Job Details


  • Daily schedule is from 7:30AM to 5:30PM in general.

  • Drivers report to and finish the route at the FedEx Ground terminal at 135 Coleman Blvd., Pooler, GA 31408.

  • Our team operates Monday through Saturday.

  • Full-time drivers work 5-6 days per week.

  • Packages vary in size and can weigh up to 150 pounds.

  • Training is approximately 5 days and paid at $15 per hour.

  • Uniforms are provided.

Required Qualifications


  • Be at least 21 years of age.

  • Have a valid drivers license and social security number with work authorization.

  • Have a clean driving record.

  • Be able to pass a DOT physical, which evaluates a driver's vision, blood pressure, and a complete review of medical history.

  • Pass a background check.

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random screening in compliance with federal regulations.

  • Able to handle packages up to 150 pounds with hand truck/dolly.
