Job Description Overview *** This position is contingent upon contract award *** SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Environmental Safety & Health Manager to provide support for a Facilities and Life Support Contract performed at an overseas location. Essential Job Duties * Expert knowledge of occupational safety and health, fire protection engineering, or environmental compliance and restoration management concepts, principles, practices, and procedures, body of laws, and regulations. Qualifications Minimum Requirements * Active in scope Secret security clearance.
* Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, Fire Protection Engineering,Industrial Hygiene, Health Physics, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
* Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
* A credential in the area of expertise (Professional Engineer license, Certified Safety professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, qualified environmental professional or approved equivalent). Additional Information Work Environment * Must reside at an overseas location.
* Long hours, exposure to harsh weather and other hazardous conditions.
* Wearing of location appropriate PPE and clothing when in the field is required.
