Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Production Coordinator /Club and Retail Store/Brand in Chatsworth, CA. The Production Coordinator manages daily production activities and timelines for club accounts and retail programs to ensure on-time delivery and workflow execution. This role acts as a central hub for communication between overseas factories, vendors, and internal departments such as Design, Logistics, and Compliance. The ideal candidate brings a background in apparel production and a meticulous approach to tracking purchase orders, samples, and retailer compliance standards.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $55,000 to $68,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Production Manager in managing daily production activities for club accounts and selected retail programs.
  • Coordinate and track all production timelines to ensure on-time delivery and smooth workflow execution.
  • Enter, issue, update, and track Purchase Orders (POs) accurately in internal systems and Excel trackers.
  • Manage and follow up on labels, packaging, trims, lab dips, bulk submissions, and TOP samples for approval status.
  • Communicate daily with overseas factories, vendors, and internal teams including Design, Technical Design, Compliance, and Logistics.
  • Maintain and update Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure all key production milestones are met.
  • Track production status, shipping schedules, and delivery updates while proactively escalating any delays.
  • Match vendor invoices against Purchase Orders and receiving documents for submission to accounting.
  • Ensure all testing, labeling, packaging, and retailer compliance requirements are properly followed for accounts including Costco and Pricemart.
  • Maintain organized and accurate production records within PLM systems and Microsoft Excel trackers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in apparel production, sourcing, or production coordination.
  • Experience working with off-price, private label, or club retail accounts is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of garment production processes from development through final delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PLM systems; Centric PLM experience is a plus.
  • Experience with labels, packaging approvals, lab dips, logistics, and production tracking.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with international vendors and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency regarding production schedules.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer screen.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands to operate office equipment.
  • Specific vision abilities required for computer work and reviewing garment samples and color submissions.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $55,000 to $68,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
