Job description

Manufacturing Operator – Battery Production
Fargo, ND | Full-Time, Onsite

Packet Digital is opening a new lithium‑ion battery manufacturing facility in Fargo, ND and is hiring Manufacturing Operators to support production of high‑performance battery cells.

Training Requirement:
Selected candidates will participate in hands-on training overseas, where you will be stationed for approximately two months prior to the Fargo facility becoming fully operational. This experience will provide in-depth exposure to production processes and equipment.

In this role, you'll operate and monitor automated equipment used in battery cell manufacturing, including mixing, coating, electrode cutting, stacking/winding, welding, electrolyte filling, formation, and final inspection. You'll follow standard operating procedures, perform in‑process quality checks, and work in clean‑room or dry‑room environments with PPE.

This position is ideal for dependable, detail‑oriented individuals who enjoy hands‑on manufacturing and being part of launching a new production facility.

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Comfortable working in controlled environments
