Job description

Field Service Technician – Willingness to travel 75-90%

Our client is looking for hardworking, a motivated Field Service Technician (Press Brake/Shears) to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of heavy-duty industrial equipment. They should specialize in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems that are core to manufacturing. Areas supported: MA, ME, Upper NY, NJ, & CT!

What will you be doing?

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) and scheduled repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, such as press brake, shears, and automated machinery.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and operating errors, utilizing diagnostic equipment and schematics to get machinery running safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect individual parts and assemblies using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, and gauges).
  • Assist with the installation, start-up, and fine-tuning of new equipment.
  • Record daily activities using maintenance software and digital reporting tools.
  • Strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
