Be the welcoming face of Lake Quivira Country Club.

Lake Quivira Country Club is looking for a friendly, polished, and service-minded Receptionist to join our Clubhouse Front of House team.

This position offers a consistent Tuesday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.—a great opportunity for someone looking for a hospitality role with dependable daytime hours.

As one of the first people our members and guests see and speak with, you’ll play an important role in creating the warm, attentive experience they expect from the Club. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and working in an active hospitality environment where every day brings something different, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome members and guests with genuine, professional hospitality
  • Answer incoming calls, connect callers with the appropriate team members, and take messages
  • Assist members and guests with schedules, Club information, and general requests
  • Maintain daily reservations and Club event reservations
  • Handle To-Go orders
  • Help keep the front desk, lobby, and reception areas organized, welcoming, and ready for service
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with outgoing and overnight mail
  • Maintain Club information and reception-area supplies
  • Provide general administrative support, including word processing, filing, copying, faxing, and sorting invoices
  • Help manage lobby traffic and ensure reception and service areas are prepared for members and guests
  • Support the Clubhouse team wherever needed
What We’re Looking For

You’ll be a great fit if you’re someone who is warm, dependable, organized, and comfortable juggling several priorities while maintaining excellent service.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a courteous, friendly personality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to confidently manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Experience with multi-line telephone systems and reservation systems
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and email
  • Typing ability of at least 50 WPM
  • High school diploma, GED, or higher
  • At least two years of experience in a resort, club, or hospitality setting
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
Schedule

Tuesday through Friday | 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Work Environment

This role includes both sitting and standing throughout the day and requires the ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds.
