Overview
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Sr. Case Manager to join our growing plaintiff-side personal injury practice. This role requires a self-sufficient professional who can manage a full pre-litigation caseload from intake through settlement in a fast-paced environment. This is NOT a remote or hybrid role.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a full pre-litigation caseload from case opening through settlement
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients
  • Open and maintain electronic case files and detailed case notes
  • Request, track, and organize medical records and billing
  • Coordinate and schedule medical treatment
  • Handle property damage and loss-of-use claims
  • Identify and assist with Medi-Cal and Medicare lien issues
  • Communicate with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and vendors
  • Draft routine correspondence and documents for attorney review
  • Write Demands
  • Negotiate medical bills
  • Settle cases during pre-lit phase
  • Ensure deadlines and compliance with firm procedures
Requirements
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (read, write, speak) — REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of personal injury pre-litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge of PI pre-litigation processes
  • Experience handling medical records, treatment coordination, and property damage
  • Familiarity with Medi-Cal and Medicare liens
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Filevine
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
