Description:

As a Packing and Moving Technician at 1-800-Packouts, you will be an integral part of our disaster service team, contributing to the smooth and efficient content restoration process for our clients who have experienced house fires, floods, or water damage. Your responsibilities will include skillfully handling the packing and unpacking of boxes, proficiently moving furniture, collaborating with team members and project managers, assisting in loading items onto trucks, setting up furniture, and demonstrating adaptability to work in various outdoor conditions.


Key Responsibilities:


Technical Skills:

  • Skillfully handle the packing and unpacking of boxes to ensure the safe and secure transportation of contents.
  • Proficiently move furniture, ensuring its safe transport to the designated location.
  • Demonstrate care in loading or unloading contents to and from trucks and storage areas.
  • Level 2 Field Techs assist in contents inventory, drive trucks, participate in overnight jobs, and/or take on the responsibility to train new techs with technical skills.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with your team members and Team Lead to coordinate and execute tasks effectively.


Adaptability:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous movement is required.
  • Be prepared to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Job sites will be in various locations with short or long drive times.
