Job description

DeLallo is seeking candidates for Production Line Associates on the Overnight Shift in our production facility. This is a full-time position with the primary responsibilities including the proper packaging, labeling, and shipping of food items through the use of a variety of equipment.
Schedule:
  • Sunday through Thursday: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM: weekends and overtime, as needed

Deliverables:
  • Operate and oversee a variety of equipment utilized in the processing of food products
  • Assist in the daily set-up and operation of the equipment as the production schedule dictates
  • Maintain a steady pace and adjust as needed to match production speed requirements
  • Ensure that facility and equipment comply with GMP practices
  • Monitor product packaging line for proper container fill
  • Maintain proper levels of supplies to line and proper flow of product through various packaging stages
  • Stack product or boxes of product on pallets
  • Manually package product and ensure labeling is properly affixed when required
  • After completion of production run, clean and sanitize equipment and work area
  • All other tasks as assigned or required

Job Requirements:
  • Willingness and ability to work with products that may contain gluten, cheese, pine nuts and other food allergens
  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail
  • Willingness to wear company issued uniform, safety shoes, and PPE as required
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, pull, push, and stoop
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated work environment
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment with all personality types
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
