Sky Technologies, Inc is a highly innovative Information Technology and Low Voltage Solutions provider. We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to fill our Low Voltage Technician position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sky Technologies, Inc, located in Tea, SD is a family-owned and operated commercial and light industrial construction company installing Data/Fiber/Network/AV, and Structured Cabling CCTV/Security, Door Access and Fire Alarm. We provide prompt, courteous and professional service. We are seeking a full-time, self-motivated and reliable Low Voltage Technician to join our team. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Job Duties:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure.

  • Installing cameras and wireless access points.

  • Testing newly installed or relocating cables according to specifications.

  • Installing cable support structures such as j-hooks and cable trays.

  • Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to specifications.

  • Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of all project-related information.

  • Perform other related duties as required, directed, or as the situation dictates.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Reliable transportation to commute to shop in Tea, SD

  • Proficiently perform work on a lift with heights reaching 40 feet.

  • Ability to occasionally travel. Including overnight stays.

  • Pass a background check and drug test.

Experience:

  • Construction experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

  • Knowledge of basic electrical
