The Night Manager/MOD will oversee all aspects of the daily operation of the Rooms and Food and Beverage outlets including Restaurant, Lounge, and Room Service. Work with other managers to ensure a smooth running operation. Assist in coordinating and monitoring all phases of Loss Prevention in the outlets. Preparation of reports such as wage reports, payroll, revenue, budgeting and employee schedules. Assist in menu planning and preparation. Ensure compliance with local liquor laws, and health and sanitary regulations. Be available to work on floor to assist staff and customers as needed. Other duties such as training, cross training, deal with guest complaints, and attend meetings. 


  • College level reasoning, math, and language skills. 
  • Two years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines. 
  • Time management and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently. 
  • Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction. 
  • Prior cash handling experience necessary. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees. 
  • Read, write and speak English fluently. 
  • Computer experience required. 
  • No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.
