Job Posting - Material Handler

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to a Plant Supervisor, The Material Handler will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Unloads incoming stock
  • Performs yard receiving and inventory control
  • Pulls material for production
  • Handles processed materials for staging, storage, and shipping
  • Stages and/or builds loads for painting, galvanizing, and shipping
  • Assures that quality of processed materials is kept during handling
  • Provides equipment support at Saw, Coper, and Blastec equipment
  • Maintains proper records for inventory management
  • Attends spray-out as needed to address touch up requirements
  • Other duties as determined by Supervisor


Work Location:

  • Shelby Fabrication Facility
  • 1st Shift
  • Monday to Friday


Position Requirements:

  • Certified to operate forklift. Basic ability to handle materials.
  • Ability to obtain information on ASTM A6 assuring all material received at DSCO meets these requirements.
  • Valid Driver's License
